So What's the Deal?

My daughters and some of their friends talked me into doing Facebook. It's ok I guess, but a little frustrating to learn. And for communication purposes, it's a little less than friendly, in my personal opinion. I've also found myself answering the same questions or comments on several different "walls" and find myself answering questions about myself to friends-of-friends-of-friends who I don't even know.

Then, there are those "Getting to Know You" emails that arrive at least 3-5 times weekly. While it is somewhat fun to read the answers of others, I'm feeling like I've answered those same questions at least 50 times; even the "new and improved" versions seem to have the same questions. If I answer all those questions on a blog, can I just copy and paste the answers to all those FWD emails? Then there are family and friends who all want the latest pictures, follow ups, news, changes, etc. And I inevitably forget to get the right info to the right person at the right time. Then, I get the subsequent "How come you didn't tell me about...." or "Why didn't you send me that picture of blah, blah and blah". So at the risk of seeming terribly impersonal, but to prevent unintentional hurt feelings while keeping everyone informed and/or bored stiff at the same time, I decided to take action.

Thus, I've decided to kill 10 birds with one stone and just blog it all out here! If you want to check up on me, this is the place to come! THE LATEST NEWS

For Grandma & Gary: No, I haven't heard from Nicole today. She's apparently coming up to GA for a visit sometime this month but has not given me a date yet. Baby Kaidence is apparently doing well and will be with Nicole when she visits because I won't let Nicole through the door until I get to hold my baby again! LOL

GARY: I talked with Nicole since we talked last. She says to please call her; her cell is still not working.
No, I haven't mailed the baby pics to you yet, but will try to do that next week.
GARY & LESIA: No, I didn't chicken out this weekend! :P I went and all was well, thank you very much! LOL

Katelyn's Graduation: Scheduled for 29 May, but dont' have time or place yet

World Changers: The girls will be doing this mission trip again this year and will be gone July 18-25. Should I sneak off fishing while they're gone or throw a wild party?!? LOL

Washington DC: Codah leaves the last weekend of March for Wash DC, where she will be marching with the band and playing with the jazz band. Hmmm, another week for running away or throwing wild parties? LOL

Sautee House: The previous renters turned the basement into a meth lab/marijuana garden. There are windows blown out, doors busted, and blood through out the house. The place is trashed. So not only did the previous renters not pay their rent, they felt the need to leave behind their paraphenalia and trash.
Yes, Mom, a police report has been done. Yes, Gary, I did take pictures for court. And yes Dad, I have every intention of going after them! ~sigh~
